LUDA DAY WEEKEND CELEBRITY BBALL GAME RE-CAP
Posted on 13 June 2016
For many, the celebrity basketball game is the highlight of Luda Day Weekend every year, and this year did not disappoint! Held September 4th in Atlanta at Forbes Arena, the charity game was on and SOUL was there representing, sending many of the players home with new SL300 headphones.
The coaches: Justin Bieber and Ludacris. The teams: Team Luda: Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Josh Powell, Jarrett Jack, Kemba Walker, Lou Williams, Jodie Meeks, Travis Leslie, Natasha Dixon, Kenny Burns, Waka, Lance Gross, Tyrese. Team Bieber: Kevin Durant, Allen Iverson, Brandon Jennings, Iman Shumpert, CJ Watson, Marquis Daniels, Trey Thompkins, Anthony Morrow, Chris Singleton, Scotter Braun, Kenny Hamilton, Rita Williams, Shawty Lo, Sean Garrett.
With a final score of 134-132, JB ended Luda’s six year winning streak. But one thing both teams were happy about (besides their new headphones!) – all proceeds from the game ($10,000!) went to the Ludacris Foundation helping disadvantaged youth in the Atlanta metro area.
SOUL by Ludacris, in partnership with Ludacris, DTP Records, Seagram’s Gin and The Ludacris Foundation presented the 6th annual LudaDay Weekend 2011 September 1st – 5th in Atlanta, GA.
