Earlier this year, I bought the SL99 and then bought the Beats by Dr. Dre and made a real comparison. Came to the conclusion that the SL99 is much better to Beats by Dr. Dre. The sound is very nice. And the price is acceptable. Soon going to buy SL150B. Ludas forever.

Better than Beats & Bose

Okay. I've finally listen to all headsets from Sony, Logitech, Turtle Beach, etc just for a decent headphones. I went as far as Bose and Beats by Dr Dre. Yes. Even the expensive models. Which one impressed me above all these? You guessed it. Soul by Ludacris SL150CB. Believe me. No one was more shocked than me. Amazing noise cancelling. Awesome bass sound. I plugged it into my iPhone and tested it on Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Nelly, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Brooks & Dunn, Alicia Keys, Adele, Mariah Carey, Kenny G, Van Halen, Guns & Roses, & Cherri Bomb. (Very eclectic choices right). I gotta admit. They all sounded effin awesome. I had to do a triple check on the price. Well worth it! Better than Beats By Dr Dre. That's right. I said better than Dr Dre's. Thank you Ludacris. For giving me a better choice with a reasonable price. I LOVE my new headphones.

these headphones are the best. i listen to all types of music from bob marley, marvin gaye, 2pac, metallica etc. great sound. the balance between the high's, mid's and bass is on point. not to mention the comfort and design sets it apart from the rest. im glad i did research and found out about SOUL. im planning on purchasing the sl99 for the gym. great product for the money

I picked these up at radioshack and i was super impressed with the bass, witch is powerful but the mids and highs or great too. they are better then the beats solos in every way!!!!!

i havent purchased the sl150 but i put them on in store and they blew my mind, they weere next to the beats by dre and believe me these feel ten times better have better clarity and are built to last, cant wait to order these.

The sound clarirty is amazing and it has an amazing bass but its balenced so the sound is even better then Beats. Everybody should be getting these besides Beats. When you pay for these, you're paying for the product and the music. Beats everyone wants because, well, they're beats. Most people don't even know what Souls are cuz they're so cuaght up in beats. These sound better then pros, studios, solo hd's and everything. And this is just the sl150's. The sl300's, just even get me started. If you have the money for the sl300, buy them!

hands down the best headphones i ever owned. i used these headphones every day and each time they got better. i got everything i wanted to hear out of my music. very comfortable and stylish. even tho i lost mine in back of a taxi i surely enjoyed every minute i had these headphones.

Hello this is my review of the soul sl150 i tested them out and they are awesome i think that they are better than the beats these headphones are more balanced than the beats the beats by dre are all about the bass while the sl150 has a more balanced sound and that is smoother on your ears so this is my review there good so keep it up ludacris

These are great. I play high school basketball, so we are always on buses and these are great. I love my music so hearing it on the bus instead of the bus was great, this was the first real pair of over- ear headphones, other than listening to my friends beats by dre. Since I got these just after christmas a lot of my friends just got the solos by beats by dre and when we would compare they were blown away how these were the same price and so much better. One of them wanted to return his beats to get these. I think these are way better than beats, and my friend got the sl300 because he really liked the ones I have. I definitely recommend these, I wish they were noise canceling and after awhile they do start to hurt your ears because of the pressure but all in all a great product!

I have the SL150. To me they have been the best pair of headphones i have ever had. All my friends compared them to the Beats by Dre and My headphones won easily. I love the Soul By ludacris I cant wait Til Luda drop some more products. Im looking for some Wireless Souls.

These headphones are amazing. To start off, the clarity of the sl150 model amazes me. They have basically perfect highs and mids. The bass "thumps" and its not over powered like some of the competitors. The build quality is great. The model has on ear cups but its more like over/on ear which is great. I listen to all types of music and i have to say it didn't just sound good with Hip hop it really fit all genres. They fit comfortably around your neck, the only drawback is that (like every other headphone) even though it has super soft padding extended use could result in a little discomfort. Other than that they are very nice and affordable. My pic for the next wave of ear pleasure lol. PS headphones go hard

i dont own this pair of headphones yet, but i have had a friend who owns a pair and let me tell you that these are by far the best non-noise cancelling headphones ive tried. just the quality of the headphones, having chrome on headphones is just sick! the sound is better than the beats studio, the bass is not over powering the music sound and you get really great range of highs and mids. if i had a choice between the beats studios or the sl 150 i would choose this without a doubt..a free pair would be great...

Just had these delivered a day ago... boy am I impressed! Most people would first turn to another headphone, before even thinking about SOUL. These people are absolutely ignorant. The sound produced is spectacular, which is accompanied by a clean, but thumping base. I highly recommend these to anyone thinking about fashion and quality!

I got the sl150 for Christmas and at first I wanted the sl100 but I was like it's only $50 more ad I went for it. BEST IDEA I EVER DID!! These headphones are AMAZING, AWESOME QUALITY AND PREFECT BASS. In my opinion these headphones are way better then the beats I owned a pair last year and they broke very easy there goes $230 down the drain. A MOST BUY HEADPHONE.

The Soul SL150 has a unique design that aspires from a more passionate base which reflects the name 'soul'. The sound quality is excellent and can keep the listener occupied even at the quietest sound level. As in all products there is a setback which many designers do not take into consideration. The fitting is not ideal for those who wear glasses. I have a horrible eyesight and need my glasses, making listening to these beautifully sounding headphones quite painful after 10 minutes. However for those lucky enough to sport spot on eyesight, these headphones are a perfect match To conclude: For those who love a unique and wonderful experience these are the ones for you. Pros: Excellent bass and sound quality. Unique and simple design Cons: Painful with glasses on, heat can build up after long usage. I hope this review was helpful to both the company and viewers.
